American rap superstar Travis Scott has been announced as the headlining act for this year’s Castle Lite Unlocks, set to take place on October 11 at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Scott’s visit to Mzansi forms part of his record-breaking Circus Maximus World Tour, which will also take him to Delhi, India; Seoul, South Korea; Sanya, Hainan, China; and Tokyo, Japan.

Returning for the first time since 2019, Castle Lite Unlocks promises to revive legendary moments while pushing the boundaries of live entertainment. Fans can expect electrifying performances, with Scott leading a line-up of South African supporting acts, who are yet to be announced.

Castle Lite brand director Colleen Duvenage expressed excitement over the festival’s comeback.
“We are thrilled to be back – reinvigorated and more intentional. We have an exciting plan for Unlocks 2025, featuring premium VIP experiences, prizes, and, as always, unforgettable moments for our customers,” said Duvenage.

Tickets go on sale from March 28 via Ticketmaster and Big Concerts.

For years, Castle Lite Unlocks has brought some of the biggest names in global hip-hop to South Africa, with past headliners including Drake, Wiz Khalifa, J Cole, Cardi B, and Post Malone.

This year’s edition is set to be another unmissable experience for music lovers.
