TRIANGLE will look to stop high-flying Chicken Inn when they visit league leaders for a top-of-the-table Castle Lager Premiership fixture at Luveve today.Chicken will be brimming with confidence after handing league champions Dynamos with their heaviest home defeat in a decade at Rufaro on Sunday.

Triangle are equally confident after winning 3-1 against a very good Harare City side on Sunday.

Coach Kelvin Kaindu praised Chicken Inn but was confident his side could topple the hosts.

His assistant, Biggie Zuze, said they were confident going into the match.

“It’s never an easy game against Chicken Inn and we know they are on a very good run of form but we are optimistic that we can match them in all departments.

“I’s first versus second and that will spice up the encounter as a win will give us an opportunity to take pole position.

“As compared to some pitches that we have already played on, I believe Luveve is a good pitch for us to play our game and we both had wins against top sides on Sunday and that will make the encounter more interesting,” said Zuze.

Triangle will miss the services of midfielder Cabby Kamhapa, who fractured his left hand, in the game against City.

Hardlife Mavhundi, who was injured in their away win at Dongo, looks set to return to the starting eleven as a direct replacement for Kamhapa.

Triangle rely heavily on their midfield trio of Hillary Bakacheza, Pasca Manhanga and Nhamo Lameck but will need strength at the back.

Kaindu gave former Highlanders defender Dumisani Ndlovu his first start last time around.

Ndlovu made numerous blunders and was booed by the home fans.

“Dumi has not played a game since last year and looked unsettled but I am happy that towards the end of the game he started to get his feet on the ground.

“Jimmy (Dzingai) has been instrumental but he is injured and we have to give others the chance to play”, said Kaindu.
