TRIANGLE appear to have the easiest game in what promises to be a Super Saturday which could go a very long way in deciding the relegation puzzle in the Castle Lager Premiership.
All the matches will be played on Saturday.
Genesis Mangombe’s men, whohave booked their place in the Chibuku Super Cup, have lost two of their league matches at the hands of Chicken Inn and MWOS.
Those two losses have damaged what has been a very good campaign, to try and avoid the chop, since Mangombe was hired to sort out the mess at the club.
They have what looks like a penalty in the penultimate round of the championship as they have a home date against relegated Kwekwe United – the worst team in the league.
A victory for Triangle will be a huge boost in their battle to avoid the chop.
The other sides, in the relegation dog-fight, all have tough battles. Yadah host Dynamos at Ngoni in what is a winner-take-all battle.
This match was initially expected to be played at Rufaro but once the venue became unavailable, with CAPS United hosting MWOS, Yadah decided to move it to Ngoni.
Had the game been played at Rufaro, the good money would have been on DeMbare winning but the change of venue complicates things a little bit.
If Yadah, who have perfected the art of surviving relegation in the final games of the season, lose this match, then they are doomed.
However, their steely performance, in a 1-0 win over Herentals last weekend, shows that they are a dangerous side.
Another relegation shootout is at Barbourfields where Bosso host Manica Diamonds.
It’s another winner-take-all contest and the Gem Boys will come into this game bubbling with some confidence after their 1-0 win over Ngezi Platinum Stars.
Greenfuel will be hoping that champions Scottland’s focus will be affected by the celebrations in their camp since the Mabvuku side won the championship at Ascot on Sunday.
With the match being played at neutral Ngoni, Greenfuel can really fancy their chances of getting a result which could be a huge boost to their chances of survival.
Chicken Inn have a tricky game away at Ngezi Platinum Stars while Bikita Minerals can also fancy their chances of beating out-of-form Simba Bhora in the Lowveld.
CAPS United host MWOS at Rufaro with Lloyd Mutasa and his men returning to the capital where their championship hopes were effectively destroyed.
