Truck impounded in cement smuggling racket

A DUO employed by Mamvura Investments in Chipinge, as a driver and assistant have been charged with smuggling cement.

The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe NPAZ) has reported that on July 15 in Mabheka Chipinge at around 10 pm, the police were on patrol.

They found Prince Dewa (25) and Lucky Sigauke (29), were found in possession of 200 bags of 50kg cement loaded in a Hino truck and failed to produce a clearance certificate, leading to their arrest. Zimra Chipinge seized the motor vehicle and cement.

Dhewa and Sigauke were fined US$400 or two months in jail said NPAZ
