Tryson returns to Holly’s Hotel

Although making their second return at the same joint is talented Jazz outfit Too Open who were one of the first groups to perform at the venue since its re-opening recently.
The “Matida Hostels” hit-makers are renowned for their ability to play renditions of songs by famous international as well as local musicians, cutting across genres.
Their Chimurenga remixes of Thomas Mapfumo’s songs are engrossing, so is their revamps of Oliver Mtukudzi’s gems.
The icing on the cake is their reggae renditions.
Alongside Naison who has become a master of the Dendera genre, Too Open are set to make the gig a memorable one.
“By bringing Tryson and Too Open to Holly’s we are consolidating the venue as a joint for live acts. There will be more big artistes coming in the near future,” said Tatenda Paradzai, the manager of the joint.
