TRYSON Chimbetu’s rehabilitation journey has been embraced by fellow artists.
One of the artists, who was touched by Tyson’s battle against drug abuse, is Gibson “Spaghetti” Chisoni.
“Tryson’s battle against drug abuse touched us when we realised that we risked losing one of us.
“I was happy when I heard he went for rehabilitation with the help of his cousin Suluman.
“He took the rehabilitation process seriously and now he is in a better place as we speak,” he said.
Spaghetti, who collaborated with Tryson, on the song Spenda Mari, said he was humbled as Tryson narrated his story.
“Tryson is a brave man who accepted his situation and now he is a role model to the young people after he shared his story.
“When I collaborated with him on my song titled Spenda Mari, he showed signs of the old Tryson that I knew.
“He didn’t take any drugs or alcohol and he regretted his move.
“He shared with me the dangers of drug abuse and how it almost ruined his career.
“People of Tryson’s calibre, who are willing to help others, are hard to come by,” he added.
Spaghetti has gone solo after leaving Leonard Zhakata’s Zimbabwe All-Stars camp.
He has been holding a series of shows.
The Herentals Group of Schools ambassador is also grateful to the management at the institution for assisting him.

“As their ambassador, I always try to carry myself with dignity because I have a big task ahead.
“Musically, I feel loved by my fans who have embraced me as I am.”
