FORMER Highlanders FC technical adviser, Cosmas “Tsano” Zulu has been appointed Bulawayo Christian Sports League technical and development officer.The league is a grouping of several churches in Bulawayo.
Zulu confirmed his appointment.
“The Bulawayo Christian League approached me with an offer to join their league last week at my home in Entumbane,” he said.
Zulu said he had already met the BCL executive members to finalise his new post as board member responsible for technical and development matters.
“I met with the BCL executive on Saturday to finalise the paperwork formally appointing me as the board member technical and development of the BCL,” he said.
Zulu said he was privileged to be part of the BCL family and was eager to share his knowledge in a way that will develop the Christian community.
BCL president Timothy Mandizadza confirmed that they had offered Zulu the post. He said they had considered his vast experience in sport.
“We offered Zulu the post because he met our requirements. He is a Christian who is active in sport and is qualified in sports development,’ he said.
Zulu’s role as board member technical and development is to identify training needs as well as coming up with training manuals for the teams.
