AGENT Sawu-coached Ntabazinduna Prison were edged 3-2 by ambitious Tsholotsho Pirates in the Zifa Southern Region Division One encounter over the weekend.The prison warders had a nightmarish trip to the rural Matabeleland North outfit as the home side baptised them with two quick goals in the opening 10 minutes to unsettle the visitors who were bubbling with confidence before the encounter.
Lizwe Sweswe’s men are now second on the table with 14 points and a game in hand trailing high riding Plumtree Chiefs by two points.
The former Zimbabwe Saints and Dynamos goal scoring machine, Sawu said he is not pressing the panic button yet as the season is still young.
“The boys showed character despite going two goals down in the first 10 minutes. We conceded all three goals from set pieces, which is something that we have to work on,” said Sawu.
He, however, bemoaned the fact that they have had the same referee Jethro Muromo in most of their matches, a situation that raises eyebrows.
“Zifa should always strive to promote fair play as well as fair competition. We have played six games and three of them have been officiated by the same person. We are not complaining because we lost but all we are saying is that it’s not fair to have the same official,” he said.
