Tsholotsho in pole position in D1

IN THE Southern Region Zifa Division One league, Tsholotsho took pole position after edging Main Line FC 1-0 in the Week 6 fixtures to maintain their unbeaten run.

Hwange-based Makomo notched up a 2-1 win against Bosso90 to take second position on 12 points, two behind the log leaders. Former Premiership side, Hwange were third after last week’s games a point behind Makomo while Indlovu Iyanyathela sat on fourth spot due to goal difference as they had the same number of points with Hwange.

In the Central Region, former PSL side, Whawha were on top with 13 points heading into this weekend’s matches having humiliated Ivan Hoe 4-1 last weekend. Telone grabbed the second spot after beating Black Eagles 2-0 to reach 12 points while Sheasham, who have played only four games were third on 10 points while FC Lesaffre have the same number of points but have played two more games.

Green Fuel top the Eastern Region Division One log with 10 points from four games while Prisons side, Tenax are second on nine points with newly formed side, Manica Diamonds on position three a point behind. Gutu and Renco Mine are fourth and fifth on seven points, all teams have played the same number of games
