TWIN brothers, Tendai and Farai Katonha, have been selected by the Twin Association of Zimbabwe to represent the country at the Special Global Twins Business Conference in Nairobi, Kenya, this weekend.
The conference will focus on the theme “Harnessing All Global Opportunities In Eradicating Poverty Through Networking.”
The Katonha brothers aim to gain solutions, from other regional and international twins’ organisations, to confront the specific socioeconomic challenges faced by multiple birth communities in Zimbabwe. As the current chair of the Southern Africa Development Corporation Twins Association, Tendai and Farai will also be representing the organisation at the conference.
“Such an opportunity will give Zimbabwe best solutions to curb challenges being faced by multiple births,” said Tendai.
“All socioeconomic challenges faced by twins and multiple births will get strategic solutions since sharing is caring.
“Challenges faced by multiple births are almost the same globally, hence we seek possible solutions from other regional and international twins’ organisations.
“Investment opportunities for all Zimbabwean multiple births will be available, which is unique to Zimbabwe as we foster to provide fishing rods (not food or material) to multiple births communities,” he said.
