THE Tynwald North community last night held a prayer meeting for Ronald Mujuru, following the death of his wife, Lilian and their five children.
Ronald Mujuru was surrounded by his relatives, who have stood with him during the difficult period. Community members from various church denominations attended the gathering despite the showers, united in prayer for the souls of the six. The meeting featured a praise and worship team drawn from different churches, with spiritual hymns and songs of worship leading the service. After the worship segment, participants knelt to intercede—praying with deep emotion and heartfelt concern—asking that the departed find eternal peace.
“We are not expecting any human voice other than that of the creator,” said one of the church leaders.
Speeches from community members followed, offering comfort and support to Ronald and the bereaved family.
Notable church representatives included Christ Ministries, the Baptist Church, the Salvation Army, the Roman Catholic Church, the United Methodist Church, the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe, Glad Tidings, Celebration Church, Anglican, ZAOGA, Christ Embassy, Grace Life Network, United Families International, End Time Messages, Harvest House, and the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe.
“Among all to be protected, guard your heart jealously,” summed the church leaders’ messages to Ronald.
