Faith Beverley Rusere  Chinhoyi University of Technology —
Village Unhu Gallery Chisipite will open its doors to unique exhibition of art running from the 9th of November 2016 to the 11th November 2016. The exhibitor is Faith Beverley Rusere a fourth year student at Chinhoyi University of Technology.

The exhibition is themed/titled “Un-Themed”.”Un- themed” is a collection of Faith’s select artworks she has produced in the four years of undertaking her undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Creative Art and Design. As faith grew up she wanted to do Human Resources but unfortunately it did not work out that way.

“When I went to Chinhoyi University I didn’t even know how to hold a pencil, let alone design but I took the challenge and made the best out of it. I began discovering myself and here I am holding a solo exhibition” the artist said.

During my course of study I discovered that art and design is more than just drawings and sculpture, art represents an outlet of human expression driven by a creative impulse.

The exhibition will be a mixture of photographs, paintings, print makings, drawings, fashion designs, adverts and mixed media.

“Un-Themed” allows me to freely present my artworks without boundaries or limitations expressing myself though my works. My artworks are inspired by local and international artistes and the experience I gained while at the university.

The exhibition is in fulfilment of the requirement of the four year degree programme of Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Creative Art and Design.

The event will take place at 10:00am on the 9th of November 2016 at Village Unhu 10 Silwood close Chisipite, Harare. Be sure not to miss it, admission is free and refreshments will be provided.
