UPDATE: Seven pupils confirmed dead in Gweru kombi inferno

SEVEN pupils have died in a fire that engulfed a commuter omnibus in Senga suburb, Gweru.
The pupils, from Matongo Primary School, had boarded the kombi after knocking off from school on Wednesday.
Fresh details from Gweru Mayor Councillor Martin Chivhoko, who is at the scene, indicate that the driver and his conductor have been taken to hospital after suffering various degrees of injury.
