THE United States has reiterated its commitment to deepening trade relations with Zimbabwe as part of broader efforts to support economic renewal and attract international investment.

US Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Ms Pamela Tremont, said this during her meeting with Industry and Commerce Minister Mangaliso Ndlovu in Harare today.

Ambassador Tremont, who took up her post in July last year, said increasing trade between the two nations remained one of her top priorities.

“We have built a strong working relationship with the Honourable Minister and we are focused on ways to improve the investment environment to draw in more high-quality investors, not only from the US but globally,” she said.
