A violent attacker is on the loose in Mkoba, Gweru, after stabbing three people at Mkoba 6 Business Centre.

Midlands Provincial police spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said the motive behind the attacks is unknown, and the suspect remains at large.
“The victims, Nothando Ncube (34), Oscar Matema (31), and a 13-year-old juvenile, were stabbed in separate incidents within a short distance of each other on Thursday evening,” he said.

Insp Mahoko said the attacks appear to be random, with no apparent reason or interaction between the suspect and victims.
“Nothando Ncube and the 13-year-old are receiving treatment at Gweru Provincial Hospital, while Oscar Matema has been discharged,” he said.

Insp Mahoko said police are appealing to the public for information to help identify and arrest the suspect.
