SCORES of twins from around the continent have showered Zimbabweans with praises for their hospitality.
A number of twins are in the country for a summit.
Parents of Zimbabwean twins and multiple births thronged Glamis Arena in Harare yesterday where they shared notes with twins from around the continent.
Sandra and Sandrine Bejuka of Cameron, who were among the twins who visited the National Heroes Acre, National Museum, National Sports Stadium and New Parliament Building, described Zimbabweans as loving and peaceful people.
“We had a wonderful and blessed time with the Zimbabweans from the day we arrived.
“We also got the opportunity to share their food and culture with us.
“We have different languages but we are one people before God,” said the Bejuka twins.
The end of the summit saw Farai Lawyer Katonha and Tendai Mayor Katonha being officially unveiled as the presidents of the Africa Twins Association.
The vice presidents are Kelvin and Kevin Vincent of Sierra Leone.
Farai and Tendai were commended for the work they are doing to help twins throughout the continent. Twins from Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Kenya, Cameron and Sierra Leone attended the summit.
