VICE President and Zanu PF Second Secretary Cde Kembo Mohadi has arrived at Minda High School in Maphisa for the Matabeleland South Province provincial coordinating committee (PCC).
Notably figures that have attended the PCC meeting are Zanu Pf Matabeleland South Provincial chairman Cde Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndlovu and Matabeleland South Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Albert Nguluvhe, among other senior party members from the province.
The PCC has gathered at Minda High School to back the Constitutional Amendment No. 3 Bill of 2026.
The Bill proposes a parliamentary process for the election of the President and seeks to replace the current five-year term with a seven-year tenure.
It also introduces a raft of legal reforms aimed at strengthening constitutional governance, clarifying institutional roles, promoting political stability and enhancing the efficiency of the State architecture.
The Bill modernises and streamlines various aspects of the constitutional architecture while upholding the values of the 2013 Constitution.
