VICE President Kembo Mohadi today held separate meetings with the Ambassadors of Palestine, South Korea and Japan who expressed their commitment to continue deepening relations that exist between Zimbabwe and the three countries.
First to meet VP Mohadi was Palestine Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Dr Tamer Almassri, and the two exchanged solidarity messages.
Dr Almassri said he received a great message of support for the Palestinian people who are suffering at the hands of Israel.
“We appreciate Zimbabwe’s position in refusing to accept this genocide,” said Dr Almassri.
South Korea’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Park Jae Kyung also paid a courtesy call to VP Mohadi and said the recently held Korea-Africa Summit unlocked various opportunities, with more business people from his country flocking to Zimbabwe.
Lastly, Japanese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Shinichi Yamanaka met the Vice President and said they discussed how to promote existing relationships in business and cooperation.
Permanent Secretary, Dr Benson Martins Dube, and Foreign Affairs Ministry officials were also part of the meetings.
