VICE President Kembo Mohadi has arrived at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) grounds, where he is set to officiate at the Connect Africa Symposium, a high-level gathering focused on accelerating continental trade and economic integration.

He was welcomed by Finance Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube, the Minister of Industry and Commerce Mangaliso Ndlovu and the Minister of Women Affairs Small to Medium Enterprises Development Monica Mutsvangwa.
Running under the theme “Balancing Industrial Competitiveness Against Geo-Political Tensions,” the symposium has brought together Government officials, diplomats, business leaders, and young entrepreneurs to chart practical pathways for Zimbabwean businesses under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA).

The symposium features a strong emphasis on youth-led enterprises, with a dedicated panel exploring how to transform youth enterprise into real economic value within the AfCTA framework.
Vice President Mohadi is expected to deliver the keynote address before presenting exhibitor awards.
Other key sessions include discussions on policy measures to mitigate risks facing developing countries amid global tensions, as well as an infrastructure-focused panel examining how to create connected economies across the continent.
