During the month of May, Zimbabwe had remained on 104th position and were 24th on the Caf rankings.
Zimbabwe have accumulated 329 points during the period under review while Guinea moved just one place up.

The Warriors will now play Mozambique in another World Cup qualifier in Maputo on Sunday and a victory for them could help them gain some ground ahead of the next rankings. But with Mozambique ranked below them, a win for the Warriors would have to be followed by another win against Burundi in an African Cup of Nations qualifier if they are to glide back into the top 100.
Mozambique are 117th in the world and 33rd in Africa with 290 points.
Burundi beat Zimbabwe 2-1 in the first leg and are currently ranked 40th in Africa and 131 in the world.
Zimbabwe’s neighbours Zambia dropped three places down to 43rd in the world following their defeat in Sudan on Sunday.
The African Champions, Zambia are rated sixth in Africa.
Chipolopolo are the only nation from Southern Africa to occupy a slot in the top 10 on the Caf rankings with South Africa, who fired their coach Pitso Mosimane, coming a distant 15th.
Cote d’Ivoire remain the best ranked African team with 943 points and the Elephants are 16th best in the world. World and European champions Spain still top the Fifa rankings with 1 456 points while Uruguay displaced Germany into second place.
