Warriors or Worries? Fans cry foul over team’s performance

Warriors fan Timothy Mandizadza has bemoaned the national team’s loss to Rwanda on Tuesday.
Mandizadza says the result was disappointing and Zimbabwe deserves to be dominating and be one of the powerhouses in Africa. According to Mandizadza, losing to Rwanda is “frustrating to us as fans.”

Zimbabwe’s wait for a win in the 2026 World Cup Cup qualifiers continued. Even with no pressure and no prize at stake, the Warriors still managed to disappoint at South Africa’s Orlando Stadium.

A 39th-minute strike from Gilbert Mugisha was enough to condemn Michael Nees’ charges to their fourth defeat of the campaign, leaving them bottom of Group C with just four points from eight games.
