Warriors’ Thursday match against Namibia to be played behind closed doors

The Zimbabwe Football Association has announced that the upcoming match between the Warriors and Namibia, scheduled for Thursday, will be played behind closed doors.

This decision comes at the request of the Namibian team, who have asked that no fans be present at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In light of this, the association has urged all supporters to refrain from traveling to the stadium for the game.

However, fans can look forward to attending the Warriors’ home game on Monday, October 14, which will be open to all, at the same venue. The association encourages supporters to come out in full force to cheer on the team during this match.

This announcement aims to ensure that all fans are well-informed and can plan accordingly. The two matches will be played in South Africa as both Namibia and Zimbabwe do not have Caf approved stadia. (Afro gazette News)
