IT never rains but pours for three passengers who thought they could outsmart the law!
Detectives from CID Drugs and Narcotics, Beitbridge, swooped on a Vicky Bus parked at a local service station on 25 April and made a stunning bust — arresting three passengers after finding eight fat cobs of dagga stuffed inside two plate gas stoves!
Primrose Madhume (31), Sharon Nyadzayo (29), and Takudzwa Malimi (20), according to the police on X, were caught red-handed, their high hopes literally going up in smoke.
In a separate sting on the same day, Itai Madhumbe (44) was cornered at a house in Mt Hampden — this time with a stash of dagga and dangerous Chrystal Meth!
Police have vowed to keep the heat on drug peddlers.
