After missing a much-anticipated show in Gwanda over the weekend due to a flight cancellation, South African Amapiano sensation Eemoh, famed for his hit Ngishutheni, is set to make it up to fans with a compensatory gig on September 5.
Fans were initially expecting the pint-sized star to perform in the mining town on August 30, but unforeseen travel disruptions forced him to cancel. Eemoh eventually jetted in a day later and treated Bulawayo fans to an electrifying performance at a Pop-Up Party at Cosmopolitan VIP Club on August 31.
One of the show organisers, DJ Keitho, confirmed that the Gwanda gig has been rescheduled to coincide with the Matabeleland South Agricultural Show, which runs from September 4 to 6, making Eemoh’s set the main entertainment highlight of the exhibition. He will perform at Phoenix Tshisanyama.
“We sincerely apologise to fans who had bought tickets for the previous show. As compensation, Eemoh will be performing at Phoenix Tshisanyama this Friday, and those tickets remain valid. This is our way of ensuring fans enjoy their favourite artiste live,” said DJ Keitho.
Eemoh’s meteoric rise in the Amapiano scene is credited to his unique fusion of traditional African rhythms with modern pop and R&B elements. He has captured hearts across Southern Africa with chart-topping tracks such as “iMpumelelo”, “Masithokoze”, and the current fan favourite “Ngishutheni.”
With his growing fan base and undeniable stage presence, the upcoming show promises to be an unforgettable experience for music lovers in Gwanda and beyond.
