Exhibitors at the 18th edition of the Sanganai/Hlanganani/Kumbanayi World Tourism Expo have expressed overwhelming satisfaction with the level of engagement from buyers and visitors, describing the event as a resounding success.
With the prestigious showcase coming to a close today at Mutare Sports Club, many participants revealed that they had run out of product samples due to an unexpected surge in inquiries.

Among the exhibitors was Luipardal Hotel Guests Amenities, a local manufacturer of premium hotel body products, amenities and complimentary accessories.
The company’s Marketing and Design Manager, Mr Takudzwa Sharanga, described the response from delegates as “phenomenal.”
“The exhibition has been phenomenal. We got to see a lot of people interested in our products,” said Mr Sharanga.
He admitted the company had underestimated the turnout and demand.
“We actually regretted bringing a few products for display because we did not really expect it [the exhibition] to be overwhelming.”
Mr Sharanga said the event offered valuable engagement opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
“We engaged with our clients… it was a good learning curve for us.”
Ms Albertina Mawandza, a tour operator said the exhibition exposed her business to new clients.
She hoped that deals generated will yield tangible results.
As the tourism industry continues to rebound, the record interest shown at the expo underscores Zimbabwe’s growing appeal as both a tourism and investment destination.
The Sanganai/Hlanganani/Kumbanayi World Tourism Expo remains the country’s premier tourism showcase, attracting local and international stakeholders from across the value chain.
