WATCH: Expansion of Egodini taxi rank to accommodate 2,000 vehicles continues

Online Reporter

WORKERS at the Egodini taxi rank in Bulawayo are hard at work on a major expansion project aimed at increasing capacity to accommodate 2,000 vehicles.

This significant development comes in response to the growing demand from commuter omnibus operators, who have faced overcrowding at the terminus and also illegal ranks that have sprouted around the city.

The project, which is expected to ease congestion and improve the flow of commuters in and out of the area, aligns with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision of “ilizwe lakhiwa ngabanikazi balo”.
