Multi-award-winning Hip-hop and Pop musician Msiz’Kay has paid homage to the promoters and organisers of Isintu Festival as they gave him a life changing opportunity that he will cherish forever.

Isintu Festival was held on 24 August at Fillongley Hall in Coventry, allowing Zimbabweans based in the United Kingdom to chew nostalgic bones as they danced and sang to Bulawayo music.

At the festival, Msiz’Kay shared the stage with Austria-based music ancestor Vusa Mkhaya, Germany-based AWA, Sisa Senkosi, DJ Zie as well as Linric Toto.

As it was the first time for Msiz’Kay to perform in the UK, he said the invite and performances was a dream come true as it was an eye-opener.

“I am beyond excited to have been part of this year’s line-up for Isintu Fest UK alongside such great artistes and performers, it was a very big deal for me and I am very much humbled.

“It was a good feeling to be able to come out and perform in front of people who are based in the UK as they are my top fans. My appearance at the festival was an opportunity to interact directly with my fans from this end and I enjoyed it,” said Msiz’Kay.

Msiz’Kay gave thanks to the organiser of the event Sisa Senkosi for doing a great job by making sure that people have access to the music that reminds them back home.

“I would like to make a shout to the organisers of the event and I hope that they continue hosting the festival because it unites people and reminds them of who they are. I hope that more local artistes will be invited to be part of this exciting festival,” said Msiz’Kay.
