Gwanda’s Phoenix Tshisanyama and Hwange’s Colliery Stadium were abuzz this past weekend as hundreds of music fans gathered to watch Zimbabwean music legend Alick Macheso and his Orchestra Mberikwazvo band.

At both venues, Macheso and his band delivered electrifying performances, drawing enthusiastic crowds who sang and danced along, embracing the festive season spirit.

In both towns, Macheso energised the crowds with a fresh vibe, delivering live performances from his latest album, Kupa Kuturika.

The entertainment continues next Saturday at Phoenix Tshisanyama when the venue will host South African Ke-star hit-maker Focalistic in a “Shorts & Shades” themed event. The show is expected to be a hit, as Focalistic is trending on TikTok for a verse from an unreleased song that fans are eagerly anticipating.

The line-up will also include Jah Master, Mzoe7, and Kaykid Umfanomsotho. The venue recently hosted South African stars Murumba Pitch.
