HIGHLANDERS embark on the trip to Kariba without the duo of Talent Dube and Gillian Nyathi who picked up injuries in their previous league match against FC Platinum at Barbourfields Stadium.
Dube, who started the game against the Platinum miners was subbed off in the 66th minute while Nyathi was on the bench.
Bosso face ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga Stadium on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of their departure to Kariba on Thursday, Highlanders head coach Kelvin Kaindu said those are the only injury concerns they have.
“Once again we are going away. In terms of our preparation, the only sad news that we have is that we picked up some injuries in the last game. Talent and Gillian, who were part of the team in the last game, are not available for selection for this game,” said Kaindu.
Kaindu is wary of the threat they will face in Kariba. Bosso are winless against ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga Stadium in over 10 years.
“Yet again, we travel to Kariba, they have done well since they started. I like the way they performed last season. They are consistent this season, they are scoring. We travel to their home ground, very tricky ground, not easy for teams to play. Maybe the advantage that we have is that it’s winter time, we will not complain about the weather affecting how we want to play,” said Kaindu.
ZPC Kariba are yet to taste defeat at home this season while Highlanders have only won once on the road.
