Robin Muchetu in Osaka, Japan
Vice President Mohadi on Wednesday toured the prestigious Manufacturing World Osaka, a premier event that serves as a hub for industry leaders and innovators in the manufacturing sector and is a key platform for networking and knowledge exchange.
Manufacturing World Osaka features a diverse range of products from leading manufacturing companies across various sectors. Attendees can explore innovative machinery, cutting-edge automation solutions, and advanced materials that drive efficiency and productivity.

The platform not only highlights the latest offerings but also fosters collaboration between manufacturing companies and industry experts to push the boundaries of technology.

The Vice President and his delegation came face to face with cutting-edge exhibits and explored new business opportunities that drive the industry forward.

VP Mohadi was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Housing and Social Amenities, Musa Ncube the Deputy Minister of Public Service Labour and Social Services, Mercy Dinha and other Zimbabwean dignitaries who attended the showcase.
In an interview, VP Mohadi said the manufacturing expo has been an eye-opener as Zimbabwe is also moving ahead with technology.
“Japan has moved with technology and we are, as Zimbabweans, moving in that same direction, so what we are seeing here are companies that are well advanced in technology and we can also benchmark the same companies when we get back home and encourage industries that are in the same category to actually visit these companies so that they can learn. This is so that when we do things in Zimbabwe, we do them in tandem with what other people are doing,” he said.
The VP said his visit to the Manufacturing World Osaka 2025 showcase will encourage the transfer of technology from those in Japan to Zimbabwe.
