Two Police officers have been arrested and detained for allegedly accepting bribes from public service vehicles along the Harare-Mutare Road.
Sergeant Chifamba and Constable Gunzva have been referred to as “…bad apples who do not deserve to be serving in the Police Service” after their video which went viral on social media explicitly showed them taking bribes from kombis, taxis and registered public service vehicles.

In a Press Statement, National Police Spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi informed the public that the two police officers had been arrested and detained. He stated that corruption by any police officer would not be tolerated, and he ensured that the law took its course without bias or prejudice.
