‘We haven’t joined hands with MDC-T’

Zanu Ndonga national chairperson Mr Reketayi Semwayo was at the press conference.

However, members of the party’s national executive said Mr Semwayo was not representing the party as no position had been taken to strike a coalition deal with other parties.

Zanu Ndonga president Mr Gondai Vutuza said the party’s top leadership was due to meet next week to discuss election strategies for the coming polls.

“Everyone is waiting for the conference which will look at all those options,” he said. “That conference will give us direction. We want to do things as a party and not as individuals.

We want to avoid situations where individuals use the party to achieve their personal political ambitions.”
