NSINGIZINI Hotspurs are down but they believe they are not out of the CAF Champions League and will turn things in their favour at home on Sunday.

The Eswatini champions lost 0-1 to Simba Bhora in the first leg in Francistown on Sunday.

Club CEO Banele Ngobe is confident the team will overturn the deficit and progress to the next round.

“We faced a side that has already played 28 games in their domestic league.

“However, our boys did well and we created several chances. It is just that we were unlucky not to convert them into goals. It’s not over, we still have another chance at home.

“We will ensure they do not come out alive at Somhlolo.”

Captain Neliso Tiger’ Dlamini called on the nation to rally behind the team to help them accomplish their mission.

“We lost 0-1, which is not the result we were hoping for. However, we still have another 90 minutes to turn things around at home.

“We urge our fans (the 12th player) to pack the stadium and back us. We promise we won’t let them down,” he said.

Joel Luphahla and his men, who have been in Botswana since their match on Sunday, are expected to arrive in Eswatini today.
