MUNASHE Garananga is making waves at his club, Sheriff Tripasol, the serial Moldova champions, who are regular participants in the UEFA Champions League.

The midfielder has been named his team’s Player of the Month.

Two years ago, Sheriff walked into the hearts of football fans around the world when they produced one of the biggest shocks in Champions League history.

The club, then estimated to have a value of US$15 million, beat Real Madrid 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
