ZENZO Moyo believes the current Highlanders technical team is one of the best that has been assembled at Bosso.

Headed by Benjani Mwaruwari, the Bosso technical team also includes former stars Bekithemba Ndlovu, Mkokheli Dube and Ariel Sibanda.

Moyo, who won the 2000 Soccer Star of the Year, is the current team manager.

Bosso have found form after a bumpy start to the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

They have amassed 11 points, out of a possible 15, in the last five rounds and have been steadily rising on the log table.

They might be seventh but the Bulawayo giants are just six points behind log leaders Hardrock, who have 28 points.

“Our fans have to be patient, over the years I think this is one of the best technical teams that our club has assembled, when we talk of experience,” Moyo told Zimpapers Sports Hub.

Bosso are unbeaten in the last six rounds and have just one defeat in 15 Match Days.

They beat FC Hunters 2-1 at Barbourfields on Sunday, to register their fourth win of the season.

Bosso have the most draws, 10, in the league so far.

“At the end of the day, people must not judge us with the number of draws that we have picked up.

“Remember we have lost just once this season,” said Moyo. Highlanders are two points better than their tally at this stage last season.

At this stage last season, Bosso had lost three times, they have one defeat this term.

“We know what we are doing,” said Moyo.

“There is no need for them to press the panic button, we are not doing bad, at the end of the day.

“People should look at the draws, we have lost once and it shows we are building something.

“The technical team is cooking something special as we celebrate 100 years.

“We are calling for patience and patience more patience.”

He added:

“Beke (Ndlovu) has won three or four championships, Mkokheli has five championships, I have won three.

“Ariel (Sibanda) was one of the longest serving players, our coach Mwaruwari played at the top level, so we are talking of people who know what they are doing, it’s not like we were picked from the streets.”

Alongside Scottland and Herentals, Highlanders are one of the most inform teams with 11 points apiece in the last five rounds.

CAPS United have managed six out of a possible 15 while Dynamos have earned a point more.

Relegation-threatened sides Agama and Manica Diamonds have a better record than several teams in the league.

Agama are now out of the relegation zone after picking up seven points while Manica Diamonds have done better, with nine points from their last five games.

TelOne and Triangle United have the worst return.

They have two points apiece, out of a possible 15.

  1. Lol! Zenzo you remind me of a famous Nigeria’s Igbo tribe saying that goes like: Quote: A lizard that jumped from a high Iroko tree said, I would rather praise myself if no one else did”. Unquote. Allow us to assess and rate you. Don’t beat your drum and dance to them too.
