A WOMAN has told a court that her husband’s manhood has lost power to erect and he abuses her by forcing his fingers into her private parts.
When she complains about this abuse, he becomes violent and assaults her.
Muchaneta Chamanga told the Harare Civil Court yesterday that she wanted a protection order against her husband Allen Marimira.
She claims sometimes he becomes so violent that he locks her inside the house for the entire day.
She said:
‘’When I reject his bid to put his fingers into my private parts, he becomes violent and threatens to kill me.
“His private part does not erect and still everyone blames me for not having a child, even my workmates laugh at me calling me barren but he is the one with a problem.
“I am now afraid of having diseases such as cervical cancer.
‘’I even end up missing important meetings and workshops because he will have locked me inside the house.”
However, Marimira denied the claims and said:
‘’The allegations are not true. Since we married we have never fought and I have never insulted her.
“I am the one who takes care of her mother while she’s away at work.
“It’s is not true that I lock her in the house and deny her permission to go to work.”
The magistrate granted Chamanga a protection order valid for five years.
