ONE man eater!
Mehluli Tshabangu from Cowdray Park in Bulawayo is the only one who qualifies to eat meat at his home because he’s the breadwinner.
However, his antics came to an end when his wife Nokuthula Ncube dragged him to court for deliberately starving the family.
“I need help as my husband is abusing the whole family. He brings meat home and wakes up the children to cook around 10pm. He then refuses to give anyone and he is the only one who eats meat at home,” said Ncube.
It doesn’t end with meat, he also starves her of her sex.
“He refuses to give me money to buy food and does not want to have sex with me. When I try to talk to him he insults me in front of the children threatening to kill me.
“At times he also comes home drunk in the company of his girlfriends and friends making noise,” revealed Ncube.
She further begged the court to order him to behave normally and treat his family fairly.
In response he apologised.
“I am sorry and I promise to change my behaviour,” he said.
The magistrate Stephen Ndlovu granted the order in favour of Ncube.
