Willard Katsande quits as Rangers FC head coach

FORMER Warriors midfielder and captain, Willard Katsande, has stepped down as head coach of Rangers FC – MCM Estates Northern Region Division One League side – with immediate effect.

Katsande, who has been at the helm of the club as they navigated the 2026 Division One campaign, said his decision follows a period of reflection and a desire to keep his focus on the long-term development of players.

He said he remains committed to player development and wished the players and technical staff well for the rest of the season.

As a former Warriors midfielder and captain, Katsande brings a wealth of experience from his playing career.

Club officials are expected to announce who will take over the coaching responsibilities as the season moves into its next stretch.
