Willian to stay at The Bridge

LONDON. – Chelsea midfielder Willian has committed his future to the English Premiership soccer club, saying he has always been “very happy” at Stamford Bridge. But Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly told Maurizio Sarri he wants to leave the club to join Real Madrid. According to ESPN, sources close to the club have revealed that Courtois has spoken to the ex-Napoli manager about a transfer away.

The two-time English Premier League winner has just one year left on his deal, and is understood to want to move back to Spain to be closer with his children.

Sarri opened the door for the ex-Atletico Madrid ace to depart West London after Chelsea lost 2-0 to Manchester City in the Community Shield.

He said: “I have no reaction on the agent. I’m not interested in the agent. I want to hear Courtois.
“If Courtois says the same, I have to speak with my club of course because I only want players with a very high level of motivation — but I have nothing to respond to the agent.”
The former Genk shot-stopper returned to training yesterday, and is believed to have immediately signalled his intentions to leave the club. – Sky Sports.
