WISEWATERS thrashed Khami 22-17 in the Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Darts League on Wednesday night to maintain their unbeaten run. Wisewaters who were last season fighting relegation and are now under the guidance of captain Karabetsi Mleya, are now a force to reckon with. They have infact emerged a real threat to pacesetters Railstars
“We are doing alright and we want to challenge for the title,” said Mleya.
Mleya, Leon Blumeris, Kesary Khumalo and Mer Bafana said they will not be taking their feet off the pedal as they fight for the championship.
Railstars dismissed Parkview Kanka 28-11 to consolidate their stay at the top of the table.
Defending champions Archers walloped School of Mines 21-8 to stay on track in their bid to defend their title. Their setback was two weeks ago when they lost to Railstars.
Highlanders seem to have found a winning formula after they recorded their first back to back win of the season. They thumped How Mine 16-23.
