ANGERED by her maid’s alleged flirting habits with several men, a Gwanda woman did the unthinkable when she forced a cooking stick into her employee’s genitals, a magistrate heard.
The complainant bled profusely as a result.
Gwanda magistrate Arafat Kozanai heard how Sifiso Ndlovu, 33, of Freda Mine assaulted her maid, accusing her of sleeping around with different men.
Prosecuting, Edward Ndlovu told the court that Ndlovu assaulted the complainant several times before she shoved a cooking stick into her private parts.
“Sometime during September this year, the accused went to South Africa leaving the girl with her husband and her nephew. On her return, she punched the complainant several times all over the body with fists before she forced a cooking stick into her private parts as she accused her of sleeping around with different men during her absence,” said the prosecutor.
Sifiso’s actions attracted the attention of neighbours who reported her to the police leading to her arrest.
Key State witnesses, Sitshengisiwe Moyo and Gertrude Sibanda who are neighbours, told the court that Sifiso was in the habit of ill-treating her maid on several occasions.
Sifiso is facing aggravated indecent assault charges and she was remanded to today for continuation of trial.
