A 44-year-old woman was killed and dumped in a rubbish pit at a bushy area along the Chitsvatsva-Murisa road near Murisa Business Centre on Saturday.
Taurwi Chizhanje, had multiple stab wounds on the face, breast, and private parts.
Her right eye was gorged and an empty beer bottle was inserted inside her private parts.
Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.
He said investigations were still underway
