Woman in court for stabbing sister

A 25-YEAR-OLD woman appeared in court on Saturday facing charges of attempted murder after she allegedly stabbed her sister during a heated altercation. 

The accused, Noriet Muchingami, was remanded in custody by Harare regional magistrate Mr Donald Ndirowei.

Her bail application will be heard tomorrow. 

According to prosecutor Mr Ngoni Kaseke, the incident occurred last Thursday at around 3.50pm in Western Triangle, Highfield, Harare. 

It is alleged that an argument broke out between the sisters, during which Noriet pulled out a knife and stabbed the complainant who is aged 15, three times once on her right finger, once near her right ear, and once on her back. 

The injured teenager reported the incident to the police, leading to her sister’s arrest. She sustained multiple cuts.
