A MBARE woman has been using her house as a brothel where she has also been accommodating her best friend’s husband.
Caroline Katandwa appeared in court yesterday accused of wrecking the marriage of her best friend, Tatenda Garazha.
Tatenda accused Caroline of betraying her by allowing her husband to use her house for his shenanigans. This has led to the two insulting and verbally abusing each other over the matter.
“I regarded her as my best friend, but it turns out she has been betraying me all along.
“She is in the habit of giving my husband a room to meet with different women for sex in return for money,” claimed Tatenda.
She added:
“After I found out about her behaviour and my husband stopped giving her the money she hurled insults at me and came to my house to destroy my property.”
Caroline admitted she was getting a lot of money from the deal.
“I am sorry but her husband was offering me a lot of money to allow him to use my house as his lodge.
“I was struggling financially at the time and I saw it as an opportunity to make some quick cash.
“I never expected her to find out and when she did it broke her heart and I regretted my actions.
“I know what I did was wrong and I’m truly sorry for hurting her but I was desperate,” said Caroline.
In her ruling, magistrate Meenal Naratom granted a peace order and ordered the two to maintain peace.
