A DISTURBING case of violence and betrayal unfolded in court where a woman is being accused of hiring bouncers to assault her boyfriend’s wife, who also happens to be her neighbour.
Ruvimbo Matsika has been having a secret love affair with the husband of her neighbour Tatenda Nyambuya.

The two women had previously had a cordial relationship.Tatenda appeared before Harare Civil Court magistrate Meenal Naratom seeking a peace order against Ruvimbo.
She told the court that Ruvimbo hired some bouncers to assault her after she discovered her affair.
“I never thought my neighbour, someone I considered a friend, could be capable of such evil things,” she said, fighting back tears.
“I saw messages in which she was texting my husband and they have been having an affair for a while.
“Three days after I had confronted her, she hired people to assault me and I sustained severe injuries from the attack.
“Ruvimbo’s parents also came to my house insulting me and telling me to leave my husband for their daughter,” she said.
Ruvimbo denied the allegations, claiming she had nothing to do with the assault.
“I agree that l am having an affair with her husband but I never hired people to assault her.She is the reason why her husband is cheating on her due to her poor hygiene,” she stated.
Magistrate Naratom granted Tatenda a peace order directing Ruvimbo not to assault or insult her neighbour.
