A woman allegedly stripped naked her ex-husband’s wife and threatened to insert an empty bottle into her private parts before force-marching her to her in-laws’ house with just a cloth wrapped around her body.
Gladys Nkomo (31) allegedly met Rumbidzai Ushe (18) — who is now married to her ex-husband — in Emkhandeni, Bulawayo.
Nkomo forcibly took Ushe to her house, allegedly stripped her naked and threatened to insert an empty bottle in her private parts.
Nkomo appeared before West Commonage magistrate Mr Abednigo Ndebele last week facing a charge of indecent assault and was remanded out of custody to January 18.
Prosecutor Mr Kenneth Shava said at about midday on December 31, 2015, “Nkomo forcefully took Ushe to her house in Emkhandeni were she forced her to remove all her clothes thus leaving her naked.
“She then forced Ushe to lie down facing upwards and stretched her legs apart, threatening to insert an empty bottle in her private parts.”
The court heard that Nkomo told Ushe to wrap a cloth around her body and board a commuter omnibus with her to Mpopoma.
Police on patrol arrested her there.
