Women’s League intensifies campaign

The zanu-pf Women’s League in Masvingo province is rolling out the #EDhasmyvote, unity and peace campaign ahead of the harmonised elections on Monday.

Masvingo Provincial Women’s League chairlady Cde Eugenia Mhlanga said the ruling party had remained stronger on the ground due to its emphasis on peace, unity and development.

She encouraged party supporters at Mushungwa Business Centre in Zaka West Constituency on Monday afternoon to remain vigilant and unite to ensure a landslide victory on July 30.

“We are one people, one party and we must not be divided based on the outcomes of recently held party primary elections. The primary election era came and is now over. It’s time for us to unite and fight to maintain our position as the party of choice,” said Cde Mhlanga.

“The zanu-pf Women’s League will not allow the party to be torn by in-house fights. As mothers, we know how it feels to have disgruntled children in a family. We are calling for unity as we now approach the final lap of the electoral period.

“We are saying let us go out in our numbers on Monday next week to vote for President Mnangagwa and zanu-pf and its local and parliamentary elections candidates.”
