As the year draws to a close, Zimbabweans are being invited to join the transformative Vision Board Workshop 2025, conceived by certified life coach and author, Fortunate Kufakunesu, which commenced in Mutare yesterday.

Scheduled for Harare tomorrow, participants at the workshop create physical boards representing their aspirations.

Aimed at shaping a brighter future, the Vision Board Workshop, launched in 2021, seeks to empower individuals to plan and visualise their goals for the upcoming year.

Kufakunesu yesterday emphasised the workshop’s impact, citing returnees and newcomers.

“Overall, the ladies are excited and looking forward to 2025 because they have testimonies from previous workshops,” she said.

With 2025 on the horizon, Kufakunesu implored Zimbabweans not to miss the opportunities offered by the ever-growing workshop.

“Create time to be there, and I will create time to attend to each participant. Bring a friend; together, we can make a difference,” she said.

A returning participant shared her transformative experience: “The Vision Board Workshop helped me overcome procrastination, stay focused, and achieve milestones, including travelling to China to connect with suppliers.”

Among the objectives of the annual workshop are: clarifying goals, identifying obstacles, developing strategies, and creating vision boards. The benefits accrued include clarity, motivation, focus, creativity, and planning.

The workshop is significant as a self-improvement tool, which also fosters supportive communities, promotes entrepreneurship, and encourages personal growth. Ultimately, it inspires cultural exchange among interconnected individuals whose shared goal is economic empowerment.

Kufakunesu, who is married to Pastor Prime Kufakunesu, is also a pastor, marriage and family counsellor, and teacher.

She strongly believes that her purpose is to empower women to create their niches in previously male-dominated spaces. Through her mission, she has won international awards, including a top gong for the non-profit category at the Women Changing the World Awards 2024.
