GLOBAL Sports Academy player Munashe Gatsi, who was invited for trials in England, is appealing for support from the corporate world. Gatsi is set to leave the country to attend trials which will be conducted by Go Football FC in partnership with Global Sports Academy (Africa).

The trials are set for early October and the 18-year old is facing financial difficulties.

The talented former Kuwadzana High One student said he cannot miss such a great opportunity.

“I started playing soccer in Grade Five and it is my passion which I would like to turn into a career,” he said.

“It is disheartening that I cannot get enough guidance as to how I can fulfil my dream as those whom I look forward to are not supportive so I am now praying hard that the corporate world can help me fulfil my dream.”

The expected scouts are from Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic and Watford.

The midfielder wants to raise $3 888 for his expenses.

  • Gatsi can be contacted on 0779476935.
