Zimbabwe’s young ambassadors are proving that beauty, talent and purpose can walk hand in hand after a powerful showing at the CAF African Schools Football Championship Zimbabwe 2026.

Miss Teen Africa Zimbabwe Nushel Kareko, Miss Teen of the Universe Princess Kim Masters, Toto Miss Africa Zimbabwe and rising singer Areli Stephanie Mvulah captured attention as they stepped onto the continental stage not just as titleholders, but as proud representatives of the nation.

The young stars were part of the welcoming delegation at the high-profile tournament, where they had the honour of greeting international guests and interacting with the President of the Confederation of African Football. Their presence added a touch of elegance and youth-driven pride to an event that celebrated sport, unity and Africa’s future.

Speaking on the experience, the group expressed gratitude for the opportunity, describing it as a moment bigger than themselves. They said the platform allowed them to represent Zimbabwe’s warmth and cultural richness while embracing visitors from across the continent.

“This championship is more than football. It is about unity, youth and hope,” they said. “As young women, we believe our role is to show that Zimbabwe is ready to host, ready to lead and ready to build lasting friendships.”

One of the standout highlights was their deliberate choice of attire. Clad in Zimbabwe’s national fabric, the ambassadors turned heads while making a bold cultural statement. The garments symbolised identity, heritage and pride, reinforcing their message that fashion can be a powerful storytelling tool.

“Our fabric tells a story of our land, our people and our heritage,” they explained. “By wearing it on an international stage, we were saying, ‘This is Zimbabwe, and we are proud.’”

Beyond the glamour, the young ambassadors emphasised the importance of hospitality, noting that simple gestures such as smiling, guiding and welcoming visitors go a long way in shaping the country’s image. They expressed hope that guests left with lasting memories of Zimbabwe’s warmth and would share their positive experiences with the world.

They also credited their grooming institution, Fabulous Academic, for shaping them into disciplined and responsible young women. The organisation, they said, instilled values of humility, leadership and service, teaching them that a crown is not for self-glory but for community impact.

The quartet did not shy away from addressing challenges faced by today’s youth. They highlighted concerns around lack of guidance, negative influences and societal pressures, urging young people to stay grounded in education, discipline and strong values.

“As titleholders, our promise is simple: to use every platform to uplift Zimbabwe and inspire others,” they said.

“We are not just models or singers, we are ambassadors.”  Their message echoed a strong sense of patriotism, calling on their peers to take pride in building the nation. With confidence and clarity, they positioned themselves as part of a generation ready to shape Zimbabwe’s future.

As the tournament drew attention from across Africa, it was not just the football that stood out, but also the voices of young leaders determined to represent their country with honour.
